I'm Kyo. I got my start in 2008 as a humble audio-visual technician, and I've spent the years since in nightlife: production, promotions, and DJ-ing with heavy-hitting crews like NYCRavers, Mindchurch, and Aziman Tribe, plus a myriad of events and festivals across the Northeast. In recent years, I built and grew my own NYC event series from the ground up against all odds.
Along the way, I dove into cyberspace and honed my craft. I've built and managed websites solo as KyoTech since 2016, and I've been a senior frontend engineer at Future Foundry since 2018 - starting on WordPress and Shopify, then advancing to custom React and Next.js, with backend experience from PHP to the Postgres and Supabase stack that powers Dragon Den.
From all that I learned through the struggles and the successes, both in events and coding, I set out to build the ticketing platform I always wanted: no fees, no investors, no corporate middleman. Just all the tools I wish I had throwing my own events, built right, by someone who's powered through long nights until dawn, and still believes in the Radical Audio Visual Experience.
